I hope you all enjoyed our fantastic day. I’ve just added photos for you to see what a day it was.
Wasn’t it great!
We started off with the African Drums outside.
What brilliant talent we in our school.
Then the Somali parents did a Super Assembly. They told us some great facts about Somalia, and showed us some of their traditional and modern dancing…….fantastic dancers.
The Somali parents also made some food for the teacher everyone enjoyed the lovely dishes they made.
At the end of the day all the classes went out into the playground and sang songs and danced
Somali parents also danced and waved the Somali flag because it was also Somalian Independence Day.
